Engine & Performance Upgrades:
The 2024 model brings a 13 % increase in power over previous years, along with improved mid-range grunt and more usable torque across the rev range. Revisions include a new cylinder head with larger inlet ports, upgraded cam profiles (higher-lift cams), longer intake trumpets (~15 mm increase), new pistons, and freer-flowing exhaust architecture. Compression ratio has increased to 13.0:1.
Electronics & Display Enhancements:
A new 7-inch TFT display (optically bonded) shared with the Tiger 1200 line offers sharper visuals and richer connectivity. IMU-based electronics with ride-by-wire throttle, multiple ride modes (Rain, Road, Sport, Off-Road; Pro models add customizable Rider mode) with optimized cornering ABS and traction control for increased safety.
Chassis & Comfort Upgrades:
Flatter, more spacious seat design; vibration-reducing handlebar mounts; adjustable windscreen; road-biased suspension (Marzocchi inverted 45 mm fork, manually adjustable; rear Marzocchi shock) tuned for street and sport touring comfort.
Service & Maintenance:
Valve inspection intervals extended (factory-service) to 18,000 miles, helping reduce long-term ownership cost.
